Art Performances in Paris
Earth took shape with water, burnt with fire and born were houses and mirrors made of ceramics as well as Seljukian panels; Earth, water, air and fire revived in Mehves Demiren’s art once more.
Ceramic artist Mehveþ Demiren is taking part at an exhibition organized by the Turkish Embassy in Paris on the occasion of the 700 years anniversary of the Ottoman Empire. The ceramic exhibition opened at Christie Couderc, one of Paris’s leading galleries, under the auspice of Ambassador Sönmez Köksal and his wife Filiz Akýn. The exhibits will be on display until April 30. Under the headings “Series of Houses”, “Series of Love Puzzles” and “Ceramic Mirrors”, 38 pieces of Demiren’s ceramic works will be presented.
